When Was Divi 5 Released?
The final production release of Divi 5 was made February 26, 2026. Watch the official Divi 5 release announcement:
Final Production Release: February 26, 2026
This version will be available as a standard update for Divi 4 users, complete with backward compatibility and upgrade support. Nick Roach has repeated this statement regarding the official Divi 5 release date in several blog posts: “Divi 5 will reach its “final form” before the end of the year, with the ultimate goal of leapfrogging the competition before the year ends.”
However, the Divi 5 project has seen its share of twists, turns, and delays, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the official release slips to Q1 2026 rather than the current Q4 2025 target.
After over three years of development, Elegant Themes finally announced the official Divi 5 release date: “We will be removing the beta label on February 26th.“
What happens to Divi 4?
Elegant Themes says that they “will continue to support Divi 4 for at least an additional six months after the official release of Divi 5” and continues:
“You will have the option to opt in to Divi 5 or stay on the Divi 4 update path and continue to receive critical security and compatibility updates. After the grace period, the update paths of all Divi websites will converge, and Divi 4 websites will receive the Divi 5 update notification. This will give third-party developers even more time to add Divi 5 support to their plugins.”
