Hidden Divi Feature: Import & Export Theme Options And Settings

To import and export your Divi Theme Options and Theme Customizer setting is a great way to save time when you are building multiple websites.

There’s no need to start over with your Performance settings, Builder options and Divi license key each time you create a new website. Just export your favorite settings to a JSON file and import it to your new website with a couple of clicks.

Import and export your Divi Theme Options

In the Divi Theme Options you can add your Google API Key, your Performance settings, your Divi Builder settings (including Static CSS File Generation, your Divi username and API Key and more.

Exporting your Divi Theme Options

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to  Divi » Theme Options
  3. Click the Import & Export button Import and export Divi theme options in the top right corner
  4. Choose Export and click Export Divi Theme Options
  5. Save the JSON file on your hard drive

Voilá! You have exported all your Divi Theme Options

Importing your Divi Theme Options

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to  Divi » Theme Options
  3. Click the Import & Export button Import and export Divi theme options in the top right corner
  4. Choose Import and choose your JSON file from your hard drive
  5. Click Import Divi Theme Options

That’s it! Make sure to save your Theme Options.

Import and export your Divi Theme Customizer Settings

The Divi Theme Customizer is more and more being replaced by the Divi Theme Builder and global Divi Builder settings but there are still some useful settings in here. You can add a Favicon, choose global fonts for headings and body text and style the old Divi menu.

Exporting your Divi Theme Customizer settings:

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to  Divi » Theme Customizer
  3. Click the Import & Export button Import and export Theme Customizer settings in the top left corner
  4. Choose Export and click Export Divi Customizer Settings
  5. Save the JSON file on your hard drive

Voilá! You have exported all your Divi Theme Customizer Settings.

Importing your Divi Theme Customizer Settings

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard
  2. Go to  Divi » Theme Customizer
  3. Click the Import & Export button Import and export Theme Customizer settings in the top left corner
  4. Choose Import and choose your JSON file from your hard drive
  5. Click Import Divi Customizer Settings

That’s it! Make sure to save your Theme Customizer settings.
